I am a 30 year old woman living in the US who is never married. I had been too busy with studies and building a career to think about marriage. Recently, I met a man who is about 35 who is also never married. He has a very stressful job works for the treasury and therefore he travels a lot too. We get on great and share a lot of similar ideas and basically it' s good fun when we are together. We have been on dates but have not had slept together yet. The other night he proposed to me that we have a full fledged relationship and spend time together when ever our scedules allow it since there is definitely chemistry and great similarities between us. Respect of time and space for both parties would be a priority. There is no future to this relationship as he doesn' t want to get married and his job does not allow him to have a steady relationship. what should I do? I have given marriage a thought lately but due to age I doubt I can get a suitable indian guy. I am confused :( Another Girl replied. Hi,

First and foremost, no age is a perfect age to get married. You might have heard people even marrying at 40 years of age.

What is important in marriage is your expectation level and your committment. Most girls get married at 25 years, but ask them, Äre they happy with their marriage or are only compromising and showing themselves as happy...

To be true, people are not mature until they have seen the world at large and most girls are secured with there parents and parents dont permit them to face tough and bad times.

Just sit back, relax, keep age aside, and think if this guy is perfect for you or not, are you willing to live a life with a person who doesn' t want to marry, doesn' t want to take any responsibility, just keeps on travelling.

In case you think, you can trust a guy who keeps on travelling and does not want to get into hassles of marrying then no body can stop you. But in case you think that you want to settle in life then probably this is not the right person.

Just chill, and think, give time and try not to take a wrong decision in life.

I dont think 30 years is really old..there are lot of female even at India who get married at 30+ so dont bother ,search for a nice guy and get married..all the best!
