Hi All,
We are planning a baby. I have a genetic disease and my wife needs to go through CVS pre-natal test post pregnancy in 10th week to detect if baby has genetic disease.

I want to understand who is best doctor/hospital for CVS pre-natal testing in Bangalore.

Any help/experiences around CVS testing would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Vinay, as per my knowledge genetic disease is spreadable to your kids as well. So its better to show a good doctor who can help you in getting it controlled at the basic stage itself.

See if the genetic disease you have is not a dominant disease then you don't have anything to be worried about as even if it gets passed on from you to the baby there are very less chances that the disease will show itself.

Genetic diseases are very dangerous as they have a very high possibility to get transferred to the baby. Babies have a very week immunity system and with a genetic disease it can be very difficult for the baby to survive.

So do you know earlier that you had genetic problem. Then you are plannig for a family why don't you consult the doctor and clarify your doubts because if you need to listen any bad it will hurt you know. But i pray god that your kid will born healthy.
