hi...My son is two n a half months old and is suffering frm cold n cough...his nose is completly blocked and he keeps coughing continuously to the extent tht he starts crying...since he is too young to be given ne med...plz suggest me some home remedy...sum1 askd me to tke honey + black pepper (a pinch) + Turmeric (a pinch) or milk wid ginger boiled in it....plz let me know hw helpful wud this be...

NOt to worry. U can use Nasomist drops to remove his nose blockage, which usually starts in the evening. Nasomist drops are very safe for infants as I used it for my son when he was just a month old, they r plain saline water and can be sprayed into the childs nose when he is asleep. Then u can also take some ajwain seeds in say his mittens and warm up with an iron box and let ur son inhale the fumes when he is asleep. Keep the ajwain potli atleast 2-3 cms away from his nose. U can also try karvol capsules. They have this very strong liquid in them. Just pierce one capsule and pour two or three drops on his clothes close to his neck when he' s sleeping. This will not let his nose block at night and he will have peaceful sleep.All the best
