how often do you have to have sexualll intercourse if you are trying to concieve for a long time,or if you have pcos,and trying for a long time please can you advice me.

Hey Sam,

PCOS is one of the leading causes of infertility and many with PCOS never conceive without the help of a reproductive specialist. If you' ve been trying for 6-12 months without any success it is time to speak with your doc for a referal on to see someone in this area. OPK' s can only predict your LH surge but can' t tell you if your have actually ovulated, they only say your body is making the appropriate hormonal changes. Personally if I were you, I would ask to be refered on to a specialist immediately to save time and heart break. I sincerely wish you all the luck in your baby making

Hi Sam,

With PCOS it is difficult to identify the ovulation time if the periods are irregular. However your doctor may suggest some medications to induce ovulation. Also you can monitor the exact date of ovulation either by BASAL BODY TEMP chart or OPK(ovulation predictor Kit) or ultrasound.

It is important to have the intercourse around the time of your ovulation. Please see adoctor, they will be able to advice you.
