Dear members,

Need your help in choosing the best fertility center for IVF in Chennai.

I have short-listed down to two centers and need some guidance to choose the best among them.


Option A: Shrusti Fertility Center, Ramapuram, Chennai
Pros:
> Experienced doctor
> Direct attention of doctor (Samundi S & Divya) in handling the patients.

Cons:
> No negatives as such. But the doctor Samundi Sankari does not give much hope as the success rate in IVF procedure is always less than 50 in general everywhere.
> Also not sure whether they have handled more IVF cases and the experience of their embrologists.


Option B: Iswarya Fertility Center, Adayar, Chennai
Pros:
> Well established fertility center
> Could see a positive feedback on most of the reviews.
> Doctor' s (Chandralekha) confidence is high on handling IVF patients.
> Handled more numbers of IVF procedures.

Cons:
The only thing that I feel that could be negative is that Chandralekha' s (Cheif Doctor) direct attention may not be there in handling the IVF cases. Only her team of doctors will be handling the patients and may be taking decisions on key stages. Not sure whether there will be communication gaps between the team of doctors and also with her cheif.


Already I have got IVF failures with Aakash Fertility Center, Vadapalani. A worst center which I wont recommend even for my enemies.


After a great disappointment and pain (both physical and mental) and took a break for couple of years. I also convinced myself to go for an adoption, but wanted to take couple of attempts before going for an adoption.

Please share your thoughts on the Shrusti and Iswarya fertility center, which may help me to choose one of them.

Dr Samundi is a highly experienced dr. I have taken treatment with her when she was in Kilpauk Medical College as the Chief of Microsurgery dept. She is one of the most reputed and down to earth person.

She is humble and kind to you. She is very very lucky. We did not have a child for more than 13 years. We met her and she operated on my wife for her blocked tubes and gave us a new lease of life.

With eyes shut I would strongly recommend you to choose Dr Samundi. Its been years and now my only daughter is 14 years old.

Without IVF she made my wife conceive. She is very confident in what she does.

Hi i would say Shrusti is good as i have heard from some of my friends that she is very good when it comes to IVF or any kind of pregnancy treatment to provide the best results to women to keep them healthy. Illa replied. Hi today you can find many hospitals in chennai which are providing IVF treatment. Its good for you to talk to someone who has already done IVF in chennai and worked our successfully. You have good question but some people are saying that shrusti has given lots of good news and some say no for the same doctor. So it is better you your self need to chose whether shrusti or ishwarya. But do take good decision. No Name replied. Hello Spd daya,
I do not have any idea of those doctors but i can suggest only one thing,that is before consulting any doctor please do check of that doctor so that it will be helpful consult the patients of that particular doctor. It may be helpful to you. No Name replied. Hello,

I had underwent 3 cycles of IVF at bangalore before moving to chennai. We did ivf cycle in chennai at iswarya fertility center and our 1st ivf cycle was successful. they had used minimal stimulation method and we were happy.

now again moved to bangalore and continuing pregnnacy here with apollo cradle...

If you are trying for long and really dont know why its not working, then i would suggest that you take your treatment with dr samundi mam. she is highly experienced. Her success rates are high but they dont do any kind of propaganda or advertisements. i was referred to them by my close friend from school. but i dint even know that srushti existed, but it is the place where everything was right and i conceived. the dr is very practical and highly approachable, i should say that the comfort level you get with the dr is simply awesome. It feels like you talk to one of your aunt when it comes to consultation.

I dont know what other drs do, but i only had an experience consulting with dr samundi and for me i would definitely recommend any of my friends or relatives to only her. I made friends with a lot of patients who took treatment along with me, most of them were successful and other for whom it failed, they continued with her. this shows their credibility and trust on the dr.

you can probably meet her once and then decide thats the best way to decide your dr for your treatment.
