Hi Friends,

I am 24 years old and I have an oily skin type.

I am getting married in Februaury.

Please answer the below mentioned questions that I have.

1. I got pimples when I wsa a teenager,I didnt gave much attention to it and so the
post pimple marks are still there.Moreover I have got post pimple marks on my back too.
I desperately want to get rid of them as I have to wear sarees on my wedding
day.Please suggest me any remedy that is very effective and that will help me get
rid of the scars on my face and on my back quickly.
I have been doing facial since 2 months.Though it has proved a lil benefecial for me
but I am not able to lighten my scars.
I have been following a beauty regimein of cleansing,toning and mositurising since a
couple of months which has helped me in preventing the new breakouts.
So now my main concern is the scars that have been left behind by pimples on my face
and back.Please help me in getting rid of these.

2. Also Please suggest me what brand cosmetics should I buy and what all should be
included in it like basic makeup things which a newly wed bride should have?
As I am not that fond of makeup I have negligible idea about it but I would like
to know about it as I want to look my best on the wedding day.

3. Also please suggest me that what kind of innerwears and nightwears should I buy.
What brand it should be and all?

Neha verne replied. use stupid things like lime juice and stuff on your pimple marks, it doesnt help, if it did, i would gladly prescribe to all of you.
Try to do glycolic peels from your dermatologist, do it only from a dermat, not a beauty parlour or anything, because its a medical procedure. This procedure will lighten your scars soon enough.
And dont use clindamycin and retino a gel because some FOOL advised it, you have no idea about what type of acne you have had. Every type of acne has different treatments. Dont take any medicines on the advice of some layman, always refer a dermat for these things. You make one cheap mistake, and it could scar your skin.

I use glyolic peels for my face and back, i have the same problem as you, it takes time to go, but its one of the best treatments i use on myself and other patients, because the side effects are much less than the other creams. kiran replied. 2. I would personally suggest to take only Lakme products fro ur wedding make up.. they r a bit expensive but are great..
Just use a basic foundation that u get ina bottle.. a pinkish blush, mascara, eyebrow pencil, a nice shade of lipstick that matches ur skin tone and gloss... that is all u need to have... maybe u can give me ur email id and i can mail u the details more as to what i will be using on my weddong on 29th nov...

here r a few tips for u which have proved effective to me...

1. Take a few drops of lime juice, cucumber juice, besan, turmeric power and a teaspoon of milk... mix this well and apply to the areas where u want to get rid of pimple scars... it will work wonders trust me..
Use Clyndamycin and retino A gels for preventing pimples. U will get this in any regular chemist store.
