hi friends. i went to my grandpa village for our pongal holidays with my mom and elder brother. i was studying 10th. my grandpa was military man and had strict rules but i like him so much. as i was small in my house they used to show love &care alot. day after festival he is going to have his haircut. he asked us to join him. but my bro went out with his frnds so i joined him. we reached barbershop. it was old one. with 2 wooden chairs.the barber was middle aged looking stout. by time we went it was empty so my grandpa introduced me as his granddaughter to barber and got into chair to get his regular haircut.during his cut he had conversation with him. i was busy reading newspaper.once he cmpleted he asked me whether i am interested to get haircut ? i never got haircut frm male barber and in barbershop so thought to trial once and get my hair cut it to neck length and said ok. so i went and sat in chair with open shoulder length hair. before i said anythng to him my graany said let u do summercut for her like u do for children 4 cming summer and for her exams.and he tied cloth around my neck. i told tat i want to cut it ndeck length only.my granny told its also upto to neck only. i dont knw what summercut luk like but hearing granny words said ok. at 1st he cmbed my hair thoroughly and then took big scissors to reduce my hairlength to neck and dropped locks hair to groundnext took small scissors and comb and bent my head down almost my chin touching my chest and started cutting my hair at back. i was waiting when he would stop but he cntinuing cutting my hair.i c my hair on my neck, shoulder and lap. 1nce he cmpleted backside , he lifted my head and i asked was it over. he said stil not. and starting cutting all my frnthair . i undrstood he was giving me a new hairstyle.he used to comb my hair and cut it a lot many times. he then started cmbing my bangs and cutting it. i stopped him and said no. he said it doesnt suit hairstyle. my granny said let him do his work chinni. he cut my bangs ful i cn no more feelthem kunjan replied. Happy to read abt ur exp but can u share ur hs exp also. sandy replied. my eyes got wet for loosing my bangs.later he checked my hairstyle and bent my head down again to cut some more. tis time i saw 2 customers came .i cn c only their legs 1 small boy of 7-8yrs age other may be his dad. while he is making noise his dad said him to sit quietly otherwise i would tell barber uncle to him to do headshave like haircut to u(skin tight haircut) ta to u also. i was shocked to hear dis. i couldnt understand and was seeing at them.meanwhile barber fixing blade in razor and bent my head shaved neckline , behind my ears, front temple region , earside. later he removed hair frm face, neck and removed cloth frm my neck and applied powder to neck region. i got up frm seat and cn c lot lot of hair on ground. most of hair on ground.i felt free,light weight on my head.i luked at my granny he gave a little smile and said u luk proper nw and handed over money to him.it doest have mirror to see my new luk just a small hand mirror which he handouer 1nce haircut is cmpleted but nw granny took me to home saying u cn see ur luk at home . i agreed and went along with him. on d way i touched my hair . then i was dumbstruck bcz i cant hold hair in my hand as the cut was so severe and cn feel shaved regions . nw my eyes r ful with tears remembering my hair doing ponytail. but nw no need to use even a comb.as we reached everyone got shocked to c me in such a haircut. everyone started laughing at me .asking who is dis boy? where is chinni? nw started crying . i wanted to go inside and luk myself but asked me to bath 1st. i did later saw myself and cried a lot . my bro saying tat i got a new bro who is nice and cute than my old sis. i started to cry aloud. i told tat i dont like dis hairstyle at all. it makes me luk like a boy . i cried saying i dont want dis haircut. my grandma told tat everythng is over nw we cnt do anythng but my mom told me to shave my head since festival also over u cn go for hs. everyone supported d idea saying it would be better. so i agreed and in evng i returned with bodigundu finally
