hi;
me n my husband ve have been refering to this site quite often to deal with our baby's problem of colic.
now that she is 3 mts old ,colic is not a problem but there r other things...
suddenly my feed has lessened in quantity, Netraa my daughter has finally after a lot of tryin is on bottle feed, now she does not seem to want my feed at all, cries if i take her to my breast but drinks milk from the bottle.
Another thing is that at night when she finally sleeps at around 12 AM , as i put her down to sleep she gets up in 10 minutes crying uncontrolably, takes her almost an hour to passify her , n to make her go back to sleep.she does this every night and also throughout the night she is remains restless in her sleep also.
and she is not having feed every two hrs also .
please help , i am worried sick.

feed only every 3 hours and watch the difference in the sleep pattern. if sleeping wake up and feed. if extremely demanding before 3 hours of feed time distract by playing or walking. dont give into crying. leave the baby crying when u think she is sleepy but not going down. she may cry badly but even with 10min of crying will go down on her own.

hi,
i hope ur daughter is better now.i've a daughter who is now 13 months old.when she was 3-4 months old she had more or less a similar problem.whenever i tried to breastfeed her she would cry very badly.then i gave her a break for abt 3-4 days and then started feeding her.meanwhile i used to pump the milk and give her.it worked with her.

coming to her sleep,does she sleep for long hrs during the day? don't allow her to sleep late in the evening.also don't put her to sleep as soon as she starts crying.try to distract her by showing colourful toys/dolls.play some nice rhymes,lullabies.i'm sure this would work.good luck!!

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
