Have seen a 18 month old child, and he doesn't speak or make any sounds at all. Though the reports say that everything is normal.

Hey,
My son is 19 months, we adopted him 5 months ago, and he started walking only a few weeks ago. The whole world drove me nuts asking me why he isnt walking yet. His speech is also delayed- he says a few words here and there- which makes us really proud.
If the Docs say your child is fine- he must be. I think they give institutionalised children a leeway of a few months. Dont worry soon you wont be able to shut them up.
