Okay, I had my NT scan 3 days back and while at ultrasound I learned that I am having Baby Girl again.
This completely made husband sour and expressed his disappointment. I am seeing all different behaviour from him with this baby which dis-heartens me. He expressed sadness many times past 3 days.
Our many friends have girl and a boy, he thinks that it makes family complete.

I made a point to tell my mother that we are expecting Girl no. 2 but he declined to tell my in-laws ( dont know why - he ashamed of himself)
I am completely fine with this, totally Okay ( in fact I am one of 2 girl siblings)
Maybe it is just a phase and it' ll pass away but it is making me sad tooo...

Sonali....I agree completely with Perky on the fact that this is just a phase...I can fully understand how difficult a time this would be for you but your husband is human and probably not as evolved as he ought to be. But I am sure he will come to terms with it and is going to fall madly in love with his little girl once he sees her. And I am telling you, you will live to see the day when he actually says how thankful he is for his daughters coz truthfully - A son is a son till he gets a wife. A daughter is a daughter for the rest of her life. So try and relax and be thankful for the wonderful blessing you are about to receive. You have to be strong and hold on for your unborn angel, your elder daughter who is about to receive the best gift you could ever give a girl - a sister, for yourself and above all for all womankind.

I understand what you may be going through.Its OK Sonali. Just wait till the little angel comes out. Once he holds her in his hands, I am sure even the slightest sadness he has in his mind will vanish, will be gone miles & miles away.
