I am very excited as my u/s is day after tomm.
I wanted to ask one thing since I am unable to clean up my unwanted hair these days as can't bent more.Will the doc. be just putting the device on my belly.nothing else will be done.Right?

Please tell me so that I don't have to clean up as I am not feeling well these days.

Hi all,
I am so relieved after going thru ur experience.I am so much excited .Well Uma my due date is also 30 Oct.
Manisha sometimes now also I have vomiting ..so not feeling well last weekend.

Hi Nikki,
Well i have recently joined this group.So first of all let me congratulate you,when is ur due date?
Mine is 30th Oct.
Now lets come to the topic which is bothering you,by now ur tension must have been relieved after receiving so many msgs.Anyway i too had gone for my level 2 u/s and it was like everyone said they had applied a gel on my belly and thts it,but yes it was for say arund 45-50mins as my baby was really moving a lot not allwoing them to see the complete body part.But hey it was so amazing,the best experience i have ever had.
So go with a positive thought nd don't worry and also if u want they will tell u ur baby's sex.
All the best to you nd have fun watching ur baby!!

Hi Nikki
why r you not feeling well, what happened? Are you still nauseatic?
The doc will first try to do with the deivce on your belly, if there is no proper visibility then they try to do the internal scanning thru vagina. But before that you can ask them to try with full bladder, you will just have to drink some water. Mostly level 2 u/s are external as baby is big enough for a proper visibility. So I think you should not worry about pubic hair. My doc just told me to unhook the pants, so no sheet was required for lower portion also.

Sometimes i feel like having that scanning device at home... wish i could see my baby all the time at home...

Hi Nikki,
Yes, the doc will only put a gel then the u/s device on the belly. The rest of the body is usually covered, the upper portion by your dress and the lower portion by a sheet....
