Kindly tell me about your experiences with Dr. Nalni Mahajan. How is She?? I already have a failed IVF and so I' ve changed the doctor. I´ m contemplating IVF in this cycle from dr. mahajan. Plz. help me.

So you want to know about the doctor and you can find about the doctor through the patients which has already by the same doctor and you need to think of that also.I wish you would find the better doctor. pihu replied. can anyone told me the best and cheap doctor in delhi for IUI treatment. Kamal replied. Hi ruvi, Why don' t you go for Southend IVF and Fertility? They are the best IVF clinic I have came across.I had 2 failed IVF Cycles and doctors at my last clinic did not seem to care about me. I researched well about Southend and when I met Dr.Sonia Malik at Southend,She listened to my issues very seriously and guided me towards the best treatment for me. Today,I am a mother of a 6 month old boy and I thank Southend every time I see his sweet face. Southend has a great record of successful treatments and I am sure they will be able to do the needful for you too.
vivek replied. I had gone for IUI at Nova. Unfortunatly after conceiving we lost pregnancy.

Good part of NOVA is that Dr Mahajan is very good doctor and hold very good diagnosis.

Bad Part is that patients are treated very unprofessionally. Like a factory. I had to visit about 10-12 times and each day I wasted almost half day. All Drs in her panel are excellent except is Dr Shalu she behaved bit rude.

Rest it' s a good panel and if you have tolerance to wait and bear a bit insensitivity its you would be successful at Nova.
Anu79 replied. I also went to Dr Mahajan after 2 years of seeing regular gynaes and actually speaking to a patient who had a successful IVF.
Thankfully she didn' t have any test repeated that I had already done previously.
After normal Day3 bloodwork, normal HSG and 4 failed IUI cycles, she diagonsed me endometrial TB....though my endometrial reaction for all monitored cycle was good and tubes open in Aug 2008.
At the onset she was not willing to even hear us challenge her diagnosis. I read on the internet that more than 50% samples sent to lab will come positive for TB in India. Doesn' t mean you have TB. 6 weeks later my culture was negative. It was too late since I had already begun the treatment.
Two months into the treatment my liver function test went outta whack and I spent a bomb trying to diagnose what had led to high SGOT, SGPT levels. Dr Rahul Gupta(liver doc) concluded it must be the TB medicine since I tested negative for Hepatitis A,B, C, E.

To cut the long story short.....Dr Mahajan doesn' t like informed patients. You question her judgement and she starts getting irritated and wants you out of her room asap.
And her reception staff....absolutely pathetic.
Be prepared to wait for atleast an hour before you get to see her...no matter what appointment you get.
You may already feel miserable for not being able to bear a child, at Dr Mahajan she' ll make you grovel while you actually pay for it.
What to do....IVF doctors of good repute would rather drive a 1 cr rupee car than earn your goodwill and blessings earned through their patience and care. daffodil replied. Dear Ruvi,

I might be rather late in replying to your query about Dr. Nalini Mahajan....but I thought it might still help. I had an endometriotic cyst removed 2 years back.....had problems concieving...visited various so called ' renowned' doctors in Delhi who absolutely has no time for their patients. Finally I landed up at Dr Nalini' s with a lot of fear- ' what if we dont like her' . And it was such a contrast to all that I had known about the infertily centers. Dr Mahajan is, I think the best doctor in town...she is a beautiful person at heart...figures out every little detail about your problem. In other words, spends a lot of time with every patient. I concieved naturally in 15 days after I had met her. Sometimes I feel that its also her presence and the atmosphere she has created in her hospital that helps a couple relax and concieve. Ruvi, u must have a consultation with her if you havent done it so far. I am sure everything will work out fine just the way it did for me. semi replied. Hi ruvi

Though I did not conceive because my case is very complicated but everybody in my batch of IVF did. I plan to try is once more with her.

I have had 3 failed IVF, Grade IV endometriosis with both tubes blocked and now also have TB. Had 3 Surgeries... with lot of adhesions... Paige replied. I have not had an IVF yet with her..however I am consulting with her for the past 3 months and she has at least identified my problem, which not many doctors were able to.
