Dark circles are due to 3 reasons: Heridity, Lack of sleep, stress and strain and Wrong diet
1)Be sure you have 8 hours of your beauty sleep.
2)Include a multivitamin with iron tablet in your diet. Eat at least one green leafy vegetable (keerai) a day.
3)Make a powder of almonds in a mixie and store it in a bottle. Every morning, make a paste with milk and apply around your eye let it dry and wash with cold water.
4)An excellent and very simple remedy is to gently dab around your eyes with a pad of absorbent cotton soaked in warm tea.
5)apply vitamin e around ur eyes n massage for around 5 min. during night time n wash it off in the morning .

i hav try these things n results r good so far but it will take time atleast 1 year , there is no such other way 2 vanish them in few week or months n i think creams r not good enough , in my case its heridity maybe u will vanish dark cirles faster .for more info contact sherrysodhi = yahooid. rajm replied. are young and non-stressed and have had enough sleep, then potato slices or cucumber slices wont help., because dark circles in you could signify some other health disorder, get evaluted by a doctor if it isnt too much trouble.
Prevention is better than cure.
Potatoes dont remove blemishes, its the stupidest notion i have ever heard, otherwise i would be using potatoes all the time.

Put potatoes (sliced) on your eyes for about a week..or until you see results. Potatoes also remove other blemishes. Get enough sleep, and put cucumbers on your eyes to relax them.
