Hi All,

I decided to post this message seeing the ongoing debate /arugments !! I was a active participant from close to 3 years now.. I have found solutions to my problems and at the same time helped others !!!

But from past 8 months I have observed this board has ended up being personal dairy for some ppl .. ppl post anything and everything like \" My sil didnt eat food .. my mil didnt sleep .. my bil said this ..my hubby said that \" .
Yes I do agree some of us are overwhelmed with MIL/SIL Issues but will writing every small thing that occurs on a daily basis solve the problem ?

This board could have been used more effectively for other Issues like domestic violence , Mid life crisis which we or our spouse go thru, changing culture , dealing with emotions when either of the spouse has strayed in a marriage, or sensitive Issues faced at work ... But ...

everytime any thread is posted apart from Inlaws Issues , some ppl have sarcastic , absurd replies !!

Like once someone posted a thread on how her boss or colleague tries flirting with her and the immediate response was \" Is ur hubbys money not enough for you ?? why are you working ..quit the job \" .. WOW.. what an reply !! So in case boys flirt with our daughters in college, we will ask them to quit studies and stay at home .. is it ??

Another instance where some person X raised questions on changing culture where she said how one of her male married friend was dating .. so the first response was \" why are u talking to a such a guy and someone even commented abt her character\" . while the real thread was abt changing culture and how we deal with it ??? Was it not a valid question given the rising number of divorce we see today ??

Yet another instance where a newly married girl discussed her loneliness in a foreign land and told how bored to death was she and the response was \" count ur blessings .. you dont have mil and sil .. we have bigger problems than you .. yours is not a problem at all .. etc etc \" and the girl was shoo' d away !! No solution given .... poor girl didnt even reply ..

and now abt number of babies one shud have when nobody has asked them for it and so called indian_lady calling noor selfish !!!

Some ppl want to reply to just abt everything even if they dont have maturity to see the problem !! and then put a disclaimer \" I dont intent to hurt anyone \" yep gr8 ...!!

As a result this board has nothing new or different to discuss ... so may be its time their is moderator to this board ...

Now I am sure to get some bashing left and right :) but who cares ...!!!

Women have lots of other issues and we should be able to write about them without getting silly answers. if you don' t like someone' s questions then don' t reply...it' s as easy as that! anuradha replied. I totally agree with you .this board has become not woman issue board but mil sil issue board .any other issue which is not related to inlaws is considered as stupid etc .
there are various issues we women face .i totally understand that IL issues are common and reasonable but other issues are too .
Now this is my request to all dil please be sensitive to other people problems too .there are so many issues a women faces in the socially ,culturally and geograpically changing enviornment.If you dont have suggestions to offer thats ok but to redicule them makes you no diffrent from the women you hate in your life (mil)
