I am solely breastfeeding my 14 month old baby girl. My 14 month old baby always breastfeeds and then goes to sleep i am trying to stop this habit but having a hard time because she cries and cries and then finally i have to give in. if i refuse, she skips the daytime nap. Also, she wakes up 4-5 times in the early morning and wakes for a mins and then goes to sleep. This is disturbing my sleep and making me tired during the day. Please help. what is the strategy / solution for this? Fully breastfeeding moms, how do u make ur babies sleep? Please explain in detail.

its too early to stop her this habit.most probably babies leave BM habit by the month of 18.u try to give her only when she is too sleepy.try to pat her more n sing n try to make her sleep.slowly n gradually stop her day time habit then whn she stop her day time habit after 3 or 4 mths stop night time habit.it will help her immune system to build n help her mentally to stop this habit also.

give ur baby her own time n make her stop herself.

My baby is 21 mth now she stopped her habit in mth of 18 by herself.when she was 15 mth i stopped her day time habit.i made her sleep by pattin her .3 to 4 days she cried n screamed dint sleep in day time but 5th day automatically by patting she slept by herself.after that by little patting dhr used to sleep well.

then whn she was 18 mth i made her night feed stop by just offing light n pretending to sleep.She only cried 1 day other day she dint cry n by little patting she slept.nowadays she hugs me tightly n sleeps well.
