My baby is 1 year 1 month old. He has swolen gums but his teeths are not coming out. Please advice what to do? Does babies teeth so late? Hetal replied. hi, its ok for babies to be teethless until 15months...
if he is late because of some other reasons like not adequate diet or so, your dr must have recommended him already some suppliments or diet rich in calcium,,if your dr has not recommended, ask him the ques, does my baby need it ! some drs have given when parents have asked,depending on how dr feels its right to do,
if your dr thinks he is ok,,,no hurries or worries.
after swollen gums, some babies get teeth as early as 1 month after the swelling happens, and others get later. my baby had swelling teeth from her 3rd month,,it was at 5th month when she got her 1st white line,and then at 6th teeth, 4 white lines and 2 teeths,,and then every month 1 teeth,,that was her cycle,,all babies pattern of teething are different and so are the timings....
so dont wory about it ! and they have a saying the later the teeth come, it stays longer :),,dont how far its true,,but worth a thought :)

just make sure that he remains hydrated well,in teething babies/toddlers loose alot of saliva and they often run away from meals,, so they need good water to drink,,,so keep giving a cool(not cold but lukewarm near to cool) juices(since he is toddler, you can give him 100% juice), or water...he will like it..

That's not a problem at all, My daughter was very quick in all aspects, i.e she even starting walking without support by the time she completely 7 mnths, but she had her teeth after her she was a year and two months old, i don't thing there is any problem to worry either, only that it is not so comfortable for children to eat hard food like chapatis but God has endowed them with some natural benifits that they manage to have the need fulfilled! ok take Care!
