Hi Girls
Sometimes when I walk for a while(mainly in malls or while going out) My tummy gets stertched and heavy and feel uncomfortable. If I sit down then I get ok in 5 min, what is this. Is this what is called BH contraction? I am quite scared and avoid such scenarios, at home also I am not on feet for long, jus while cooking that too I sit and cut veggies and other things and avoid standing.
Only when I go out for long this happens.
I read that BH is like tightening of tummy for few seconds to a min, mine is not like that. So I assume its not that. Do any of u feel uncomfortble or have problem if u stand or walk for long?

I think u are feeling the same I felt when i would walk for more than hour in a mall...I had asked the doctor and he said its just normal pains which u get when u start a new exercise/gym (like walk fast/jog) first few days u can feel ur body adjusting to the effort u put(it generally gets better when u exercise reg.),simlarly, since now u have added weight on tummy, and exercising it is normal to feel ur body get used to the movement. Will be fine, if u have regular walks,don't get worried, slow down ur pace or sit for a while...or just stand and take a deep breath. These are not the contractions...(u can still confirm with ur doc as u r carrying twins) ..just slow down..Keep walking regularly ur body will get used to the movements and added weight was the advice given to me by my doc. becoz even i stopped exerting the month i felt it..

Your situation sounds like your tummy is accomodating the growing baby. And baby movements can lead to a spasm with subsequent relief. I get it occasionally too.
