I live in B'lore. I found on the net that some baby stores here sell car seats. How useful are car seats in India? Are the stroller+car seats types(common abroad) available here? Do the car seats fit properly in the Indian cars? The car seats are usually fixed up to the mid seat belts at the back seat in the US, right? Is it the same way here? Are baby pedicure/manicure sets available here? What are the other baby accessories available/useful in India?
Most importantly people say that its bad luck to buy such things before delivery. Is it true? What do u people think? I want to buy all these stuff now itself! Is it ok? N replied. hi

N ash replied. i dont know abt the car seats but the baby manicure sets are available atleast in mumbai i have seen it.

shd be available in bangalore also - ck out the big malls and shopping complexes. most of ur baby related requirements will be available there.

abt buying the baby stuff before delivery is a matter of personal opinion - in india there are a lot of dos and donts and superstitions in these matters and it really depends on how u look at it. in the western countries if u have noticed all the stuff is brought v much in advance and even the baby room is prepared.

so if u r ok with buying the stuff right now u can very well proceed.
