Hello all,
I am new to this board & I think this is an excellent website for getting tips on parenting & getting support from other parents.
Have a one yr old son & he still wakes upart nights..atleast 2-3 times. But this was worse before though, but some suggestions made in this board helped me a lot.
Thank's.

My baby is a year old. She too gets up in the night. I guess children get up in the night either because of thirst or hunger. So feed ur baby a proper meal and give enough water before you put him to sleep and keep a bottle / sipper with water handy. As soon as the child wakes up give him the bottle. The child will definitely fall asleep again while drinking.I do the same and it works.

Hello Dolly,

I'm Ekta, my girl is 13 months old. Even Rhea wakes up at nite once sometimes Twice but then she takes her feed and goes off to sleep again (or sometimes she plays for 1/2 an hour or so.

How abt ur son .. does he go back to sleep after the feed ? Is he on Bottle feed ? What time is his last feed ? Give him a bottle at nite .. he will be full and sleep for longer periods.

I'm not an expert but i guess its normal for all kids to wake for feed at night.

Ekta

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
