I was just visiting other boards and realised that there is very little participation in our group. Lets make it a point to give regular updates on our doctors visits. I have mine scheduled for thursday and will let the board now immediately.

Can any one give me an idea as to how to have a high protein diet. I am vegetarian and the only means I know is Soy milk, pulses, dals etc. Can you girls come up with some more ideas.

Hey Chini,
Gr8 to hear frm u again.
I too have an appt. on thursday ...I completed my 33 weeks today...so shall update on latest soon.
As for protein diet....Beans(Rajma, CHole), soy patties, sprouts, Soy Vadi, tofu, egg, soy milk, paneer....

Hey chini,

If u r avoiding carbs then don't take too mcuh choley in diet as they have lots of carbs also.

I am also vegetarin and I eat daals daily in one meal, vegetable like beans, soya, peas try to avoid potato,
I drink soya milk a lot. I think a vegetarian can not do much, yeah I do eat romain lettuce also.
