Hi All,

I am in my 36th week of pregnancy and have been getting sore throat more often followed by severe cold and congestion, already got 2 times and again i am feeling that sore throat symtoms. Took Tylenol and Clariton D which is supposed to be safe, can anybody suggest, what to do for this so that i can avoid those medicines again.

i try to avoid the medications as much as possible.this is what i do and it works for me most of the time. gaurgling with hot water and lot of salt in it.you give your throat some relief from pain take honey twice a day with some drops of ginger.again you ca try taking steam.you can keep malathi i dont know what it is called another way its a small piece look like dried wood used in cooking if you keep it in mouth for some time the juice seeps in throat and really helps.you can also try hot soup with grinded black pepper on it .for me black pepper really helps since i was young.let me know if any of this helps anu replied. sneha,
dont worry.. do hot salt water gaurgling 3-4 times in a day and take steam inhalation 2 times.. morning & night. gives u more relief!
