Due Date Club February 2006:Hi everyone

Hi all

hope everyone is doing well, my weekend wasnt so good, my little baby from friday night was hardly moving which was pretty irregular for me as i feel quite alot of movement every few hours or so, so on saturday i still wasnt feeling so we rushed to hospital to do a non stress test, at first the midwife couldnt find the heartbeat, but thank god she found it after a minute and baby was fine, she just decided to turn her body and move very little.....which i could not feel but was recorded when doing the NST, it was one of the hardest days ive had in this pregnancy, i just want to say if anyone doesnt feel their baby move especially if they feel regular movement pls spk to ur healthcare provider, do not wait like i did for more than one day, it best to be safe.

From sunday onwards my baby was moving as usual and im just so grateful that everything is ok. What a stressful weekend.... hoping i dont have to face that again. On a good note i had my baby shower last week which went well and am now researching on baby cots, car seats etc... any one else started looking?

Hope all is well with everyone and your pregnancy is going smoothly.

take care

Good that everything turned out ok. what u say is absolutely right in case u have a doubt abt the baby movement monitor for sometime and if nothing is felt to get it confirmed from the doctor.

Congratulations once again and all the best. keep smiling.

i am doing ok but sometimes i get cramps in my leg while i am sleeping which is quite painful. i guess the travelling to work is taking a lot of toll. but if i stay at home i get worried abt little matters as u r sitting idle with a lot of free time once the house work gets done so ....

all the best

Hi B,
Wow, u had some weekend but im glad u took care of it and now everything is fine. Sometimes we take the moving of the baby so much for granted that we tend to ignore the fact that did he move or not.
Well even we have started researhing for car seats and stroller. the only advice i can give u is that have a combo of car seat and stroller so that everytime u get down from teh car u dont have to change the baby to the stroller. We have got the crib all we need is another set of crib bedding and i need changing tabel pads. Rest thanks to my baby shower i got everything i need for the first two months.
So where are u located ? and when is ur due date ?
Do keep writing i dont find very many regular replies here....:)
take care

hope u are all doing well.

leg cramps are terrible i go through phases some weeks it keeps happening then i wont have it for months. yes i think staying on ur feet make it worse, try and put ur feet up when u can and relax.

I had my baby shower but in my culture we dont buy anything for the baby so i got the presents, me and hubby planning to purchase closer to 36wks but doing all the research now. Good for u though that u have nearly all u need for ur lil one.

I live in London, UK and my due date is 19/2/06 so im in my 27th wk.

Hope all ur pregnancies are going well, take care and like Pooja said keep writing.

luv b
