More than likely the baby's waking has nothing to do with your diet. When my child was that age (not all that long ago), he awoke every hour and a half to two hours at night because he was hungry. Their tummies are very small and can't hold much food. This will pass, keep it together for another few weeks - it will get better. There is definitely an adjustment time for you and the baby. I wanted to give mine back the first few weeks but as time passes so do the hardships. Keep your chin up!!

Dear Prerna,

3 Months is adjustment time for the baby --try to keep him awake during the evening and then give him a bath and a massage change his nappy and feed him may be he will sleep then.

Best of luck

Hello Prerna !

Its not necessary that your baby is crying due to Gas. Your baby is just 2 weeks old and at this age babies have their own pattern for sleeping. It could just be that he doesnt feel like sleeping at night as he sleeps through the day. If that is the reason you just have to be patient. Let him grow a little bit old and then you can set his sleeping schedule by trying to keep him awake during the day. But right now you need to wait . You can check with your doctor regarding the gas problem. If that is true then you can ask for some medication for the same. You can yourself check if your son has gas problem. Does he pass a lot of gas when he is awake and crying at night. Keep a close eye and you will be the best judge.
All teh very best.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
