I was not able to get hubby's help for the cleaning. Whenever feasible I used a cleaning service. At other times I used natural and safe alternatives. I had to use them since I have allergies. I don't remember the websites but there are many which suggest alternative natural products. For kitchen counters, plain dishwashing soap works just fine. For the bath tubs and counters I used baking soda. For mirrors I used vinegar in water. These alternatives are really great. The only problem was the shower stall which attracts mildew. That required strong cleaners for which I insisted on hubby doing it. If the cleaning service came home I went out for some hours.

Hope this helps. If you can get hubby to do it, nothing like it :-)

Hi Ritu,

i think u should avoid cleaning as those cleaning products are not safe during pregnancy.they can be harmful to baby.avoid bleach, cleaning products do contain chemical products which is not good for the baby.

i stopped cleaning as soon as i conceived .now my husband is taking care of all cleaning part.i avoid going to bathroom at least for 3 to 4 hrs as odour of bleach or cleaning product still lingers in bathroom.till that time i use other bathroom.just taking precautions.
that s all i know
take care ,

raveena
