I have been a silent member of this site and now I am in need of all your words.. I am 25 weeks pregnant and yesterday I saw a tny strain of blood in my vaginal discharge and now in the morning I saw the same blood streaky vaginal discharge.. I am so badly upset and confused.. Is this the bloody show they say that cud happen before cervical effacement or cud this be just some vaginal infection..I had a blue green discharge in my 22 weeks and my doc said aI need not worry much abt it as this cud be some vaginal infection and need not worry until it persists.. I am feeling low and I want your words pl

Hello mom2b,

Please contact your OB immediately and she will take of it. Even I feel it is mostly infection. Keep you mind cool and relax. Don't take any tension as it is supposed to be not good for the baby. Everything will be alright.

Hello All,

firstly thanx to all of you for your time and words.I had called my OB and my nurse checked with the doc and said I need not worry much at this time and I need to be monitored.She says that It can be some kind of spotting that they cannot reason out why.Also I am feeling my baby move normally and thats the only thing thats keeping me going.Just to clear things out I have taken an appointment with my Doc tmrw first thing in the morning as he is out of office today.I shall update all of you tmrw until then my heart felt thanx to you all and my love to all your li'l angels.

I think its a vaginal infection but give a call to ur OB to get clear pic.Don't worry and relax.

I would have said due to Low lying placenta but now seems more of infection. Do not wait give a call to your OB and have this issue reviewed, resolved to full satisfaction.
