Hai,
My daughter is 25 months and still doesn't sleep through night. she use to wake for every 2 to 3 hrs and have bottle feed and go back to sleep. last 5 months i was in India and when i have returned back i dont know what's wrong with her ,now she wakes up as same way but she cries a lot.
i have tried by giving juice instead of milk. and giving heavy meal during sleep time, not giving bottle before sleep, only giving fewoz of milk in midnights, giving digestion drops ,gas drops.
she doest sleep in the morning also ,she sleeps for 1 hr in the morning as she is growing up.
i once took her to doctor also she asked to stop the bottle and give more solids, i have tried out but waste.

i am not having any time for my sake bcoz of this .i have to play with her only, i take her for walks daily 2 to 3 times and daily evening she plays with neighbour kids for almost 3 hrs.

what to do? pls pls reply me if anyone is facing the same problem.
i live in U.S.
Thanks in advance,
Swapna.

Hi Swapna!

When your baby wakes up, do not turn on the light and do not talk to her. If she cries a lot, take her up and calm her but without light and talking -(if she uses a pacifier, then put it back into her mouth and check if her nappy needs a change). Then put her into her bed. Use your bodylanguage and the same way of acting again and again and again to show her that nighttime is for sleeping and nothing else. She have come into a bad habbit and you have to help her out of it. Do not feed her unless you are very much sure that she is almost starving! Check that the temperature in the bedroom is not too high. Most probably you will have some rough nights until she will change her pattern, but then the miracle will happen just as a sudden: Your baby will sleep. Believe me: I have tried it myself 3 times.
Good luck!!

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
