I delivered a boy on 1st Nov. I am thinking to go to India for 25 days in Jan. By that time my son will be two and half moths. He is on breast feeding + pumping + formula. He is going to have his two moths shorts 10 days before our departure.
I am going to Ahmedabd,Gujarat. Is it safe for him to go there? How will be the flight for him considering 22 hrs ......I also heard about the ear infection due to the air pressure whill taking off nad landing the plane?
DO you know someone has gone to a long trip with 2 months baby? Any suggestions?
Thanks in Advance... saraga replied. i travelled with my baby boy when he was 2mon 3 days old to india. now he's 5 mon. he's on bottle. it was a 17 hr journey(door to door), but i did't experience any problem. more over i think only the babies who are suffered from cold prior to travell may likely to exp the ear pain. this is only my thought. u better confirm with a mid wife or a doctor or any health visitor. carry ear drops with u.kids cont'ly cry if they have ear pain or stomach pain. i exp'ed this with my older kid who is 3 now. first see the belly, if it is tight it might be stomach pain, if not press the parts around the ear if your babies pitch increases it is ear pain. all this should be done when baby is calm. they stop crying for a couple or more sec due to tireness. u can examine with in this time.
any way each person experience different types of problems with kids. some kids cry only due to they got bored or change of position or any thing it may be which is out of our imagination. so, keep trying all the possible ways if ur kid is crying.
dont worry. i feel that kids feel confortable if moms are comfortable. dont panic if he cries for long. and dont think of other passengers if ur kid is crying. ur not disturbing them.

Ears will block for babies during the flight takeoff & landing,Because of this babies cry a lot.

To overcome this ,U can put bottle in his mouth.every time he sucks this ears will open & they won't cry.&one more thing u can do is sing a song looking at him.
