my kiddo is close to 4 months, hes been pooping once a day! past 2days hes poopy is green in color? really green. watz the reason? is it normal?

Another possibility if ur breast feeding is ,the baby is getting only the foremilk (the watery part) and not the hind milk. this can happen if the baby is not feeding long enough to get the fatty hind milk rashpal replied. You said your baby is formula fed and breast fed. It is the iron in the formula that is making his bowel movements green. I think all formula is fortified with iron - nothing to worry about, unless it's smelly and very runny. August Mom replied. if your kid is on iron supplements then green is perfectly fine, my son (same age as ur's) has dark green poop (looks like spinach!!) he is on iron drops.
if he's not on iron, the occasional green poop can be ignored, but if it is watery or unusually foul smelling check with ped.
