am in my 39th week and i havent dilated yet. no sign of labor. am really worried. wanna to get induced. but even for that, i should have dilated atleast a centimeter. just wanna to share this. bye now.

Hi jichi,

Though I am only in 37th week these days I am also feeling that baby should comeout early.But its good for them only na if they r inside for full term.We have have waited so long why not for few more days!Take care.

Hey Jichi, I have been through the frustrating period of waiting for the baby to arrive. Every check-up I used to ask to be induced, but like my doctor used to explain- Induction if everything is not in position might result in more bad than good. As Kavita mentioned, you could dilate 2 cms and yet not deliver for 2 weeks. I was not at all dilated and then within 4 1/2 hrs Arjun was out.....its all a matter of what will happen will happen. Hey spend time with packing bags, assembling crib, arranging the babies clothes, reading books. Once the baby comes, all you will do is feed him and sleep!

Hi Dipti,

How r u both?How did ur labour proceeded?Did u take epidural or anything else?Being first time mom a bit worried about the pain.When u find time please write.

Hi Jichi

Hey, don't worry so much.I know its tough to manage last few weeks. Hang in there , u still have 10days to go.Some people start dialating few hours before active labour and for some it starts well in advance.Don't opt for induction unless your doc thinks it is good for both you and baby.I know it can be really frustating when the wait becomes difficult.But we need to take things as it comes.
