hi guys,its towards summer now and i can't wear short skirts neither trousers cause i have this problem of having two colours my face is very light and my body very dark,so please can you recommend me a homemade remedy that would lighten my body?

SUNBUL replied. HI LILI,Exfoliate means rubbing the dead skin off, so it is a word.you can have a lot of exfoliaters in the market.salt is one of them.
marg replied. hi, lili...exfoliate is peeling off the outer layer of our skin, as we grow older our skin need to be exfoliated to get rid of the dead skin and as a result is a new skin. By exfoliating, we need to use a grainy materials and oil or cream for rubbing onto our skin. I tried so many exfoliating cream but the best is my homemade one. That is salt and oil, very cheap. I used fine cooking salt, yes!, the one we used in cooking. I used Aveeno shower oil because Aveeno is a very good skin product, but you can use any like olive oil (expensive), or baby oil. You don't need to sleep on with it. Here's how to do it:
(1) In the shower room, wet your body with warm water
(2) Apply the oil, from face to toe
(3) Rub in the salt onto your skin in circular motion (15 minutes), from face to neck, armpit to arms, tummy to buttocks, legs to knee, heels to toes, taking particular action on the darker skin such as knee, elbow, etc.
(4) Rinse then take your regular shower
(5) Moisturise by using your favorite lotion on your skin.
