Hi Girls?

Anyone got stretch marks ? I use Nivea moisturizer and I noticed some stretch marks on my lower abdomin today. I was looking above my belly button and thinking that I am not getting. When I saw below my belly, i see them. Any suggestions please?

Anu.

Hi Anu,

It's my 25th week now and I use Stretch Nil lotion religiously. I believe all cocoa butter products are good too. Though my doc told me to use any good moisturizing cream or lotion over the tummy.

Take care,
Reena

Hi!
I read on the net that no matter what you do or what you apply, the research done by doctors already proved that stretch marks are hereditary. If your mom have heavy stretch marks, then you are more prone to them no matter what you do. So, ask your mother. Applying these creams or oils will do very little to prevent them. Some people get them and some people don't. It's all hereditary. But meanwhile for our satisfaction, we can apply whatever is good for us.
Take Care,
Suma

Hi anu
There are stretch mark creams/oils rated by parents on babycenter store..my friend who jsut had a baby said they are being more vivid after her delivery..and warned me to use a good product now itself...they have a pregnancy belly oil, a cream and mustela for stretch marks..I chose the pregnancy belly oil (think its bella mama product) stops itching and stretch marks and the comments seemed convincing..all around 20-30$ but will last the next 3-4 months..(hopefully) but think its worth spending..Heard cocoa butter is good for skin too..will get at walmart/cvs/walgreeens/pharmacy store.. choose something that will soothe ur skin and adjust skin to the stretch..vitamin E products..will help.

Hi Anu
I massage daily for 5 min or so while I bathe with VitE Oil or Baby Oil. Also after bathe I use Nivea or I have the NoMark Cream(from India) which I apply. Some marks will be there but we can try to reduce I think.
