Name: payal soni

Hi,
I am 7 weeks pregnant, well I didnt knew that I was carrying till the 6th week.
I missed my periods so did the UPT which was negative,I even went to the docter and did the same test it was negative again. She gave me Sysron tablets for periods(I took them in NOV 2008 its expiry was in Jan 2009, it had some pungeant smell).
But still I didnt get my periods.so went to other gynec who did the sonography and told me that I was 6 weeks pregnant.
Now I am worried will that tabs cause any ill effect?
Also as the UPT test was negative I did some excercises like jogging and crunches at home ?
Will that harm the baby in any way?
I know one should not worry so much,if it was only me I woudnt have cared, but I now its about the little one which is developing,I am tensed.
Can anyone help me?

Don' t worry about the exercise. Here people exercise all the time, even swim and ride horses when pregnant.
Your pregnancy seema to be a strong one but the stress will get you down. Get your doc to give you all the assurances you need and ask about any extra tests if needed to confirm the well being of your baby. After that, relax. Join a good childbirth education class and meet other mums, be happy.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
