Hi friends..
I'm new in this club.I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I don't have any morning sickness or anything like that.We got our first appointment to the docter only on 31 may. Now i'm taking folic acid 5mg.Do u all taking any prenatel vitamins other than folic acid. Before 3 months , is there any check up like Ultra sound ? Hope there won't be any problem for not consulting a docter before 3 months. I'm staying in Bahrain.Please share your experience ...

hi jeena and all new members welcome to this board.i am 9 and half weeks pregnant .i am taking prenatal vitamins.which has all essential supplement for pregnant women including folic acid.consult your doctor and take a good care.first 3 months is very important months .these months only babies important organs will begin to form.

hi

i am 6 weeks pregnant and i am having folic acid.. 5 mg and also my doc has prescribed some zinc tablets. i have been advised to get an ultrasound next week to check if everything is fine.

Dear jeena,

Folic acid is essential. Talk to your Dr. if your amount (5 mg) is correct one!!!!!

In first trimester you may be offered pelvic ultrasound or transvaginal ultrasound to visualise sac and fetus.

You will have plenty of blood work and some urine work in this trimester.

You need to cunsult Dr. as early as you can. Prenatal care should start much earlier. Since the risks of miscarriage are high during first trimester monitoring pregnancy close by Dr is essential and I would say do not wait for 3 months.

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
