It' s been three years and now I am thinking of having my baby. How can I plan a healthy baby? I am scared if my baby is born with some birth defects.

There are tests done in the 3rd or 4th month of the pregnancy which will determine if your baby has any genetic defects or not. At that time you can be 80% sure that your baby is going to be fine.

You can not predict how your baby will be born. Some things should be left on fate as there are not many ways you can control it. Sometimes it happens that no matter what you do even if everything you did was right the result is negative.

All you have to do is keep yourself healthy and be happy. Do not take any kind of stress and eat healthy and takes lots of proteins, vitamins, iron and minerals. All this is very important for both you and the baby.

if you worry from the first it will afect your health. when you are stressed your body won't response in positive way and will not be able to conceive at the first stage. let alone baby with some defects. be patient and consult some doctor to have a healthy baby and life.

Why are you worried about having a baby that may have birth defects? Is it age or lifestyle habits that cause such fear? If its age then there is a risk. You will have to weigh your fear against desire to have a child. If it is lifestyle habits then that is something you will have to change.
