Hi Meghnah,

Hope you are doing good...
Ya from the messages..it seems that 20th week ultrasound is going to be a major one...so I am also anxiously waiting for that..

I am not yet showing completely..but none of my old clothes are fitting now..so I bought new tops and pants...and those tops are little loose..so that I can wear them till 6th month or so..
So, in the loose tops..my tummy is not at all showing...and at home in salwars also it is not showing...but stomach has increased a little bit..I can see that :)) just that it is not yet seen to outside world

Finally I told in my office..and nobody could believe that I am pregnant...all of them are saying that I am looking normal :)

I still cannot feel my baby movements..but sometimes my stomach becomes really tight..its not painful but it is uncomfortable...

and now a days I am having lot of indigestion...tried all home remedies but nothing is working...so planning to talk to the doctor in my next appointment about that...

Hey are you taking folic acid now also? My tablets are about to be over...so just wanted to know if others are still taking it, I will also take...

thats all from me...rest all is fine...
ok then reply back..
take care
luv

Hello ramya,
I' m doing great:-)n so is my lil one:-)How abt u?n ur lil one?

Oh yes,20th week U/S is a major one..These days I have started drinking more than my usual quota of water, coz I read sumwhere that evry 3 hrs the aminiotic fluid in the uterus will be replaced..So for more n more or atleast for the correct amount of amniotic fluid to be produced we shd be properly take any kinda liquid. So these days drinking lotta water,n hoping that during my 20th week,U/S they say amionitic fluid level is perfect...:-)I donno why,but I' m quite apprehensive abt this...

hmm sum of my old salwars r still fitting me now, though they' re lil tight 4m the chest n obviosuly stomach, sumhow I' can manage till the 7th month...

At home most of the time I' m in my nighties,n theyre damn comfy.Atleast they give u brathing space n best part is they dont hold u on ur tummy...As they' re pretty loose,my tummy wont be seen there, but when I change onto any salwars or other dresses my small tummy can be seen:-)I' m eagerly waiting for the big tummy 2 pop out:-)

hmm ur office ppl didnt blv now?but I bet they' ll be the one within 2,3 weeks to tell u that u already luk pregnant...They say after 20th week, the uterus reaches the top of the navel,n thats when the tummy starts bulging out,so for is the wait game is STILL ON...

hmm indigestion,is very common here in pregnancy...For me I feel indigestation is bcoz I' m eating 2 iron tablets, before while I used 2 take 1 tablet my stomach was very much okies..But now I 2 suffer 4m indigestaion..Just that I continue eating munakkas, raisins n figs n to certain extent it helps me..U shd surely try this also...

Oh yeah I' m taking folic acid plus vitamin B tablet...So this makes 3 tablets for me,2 iron tabs,n one folic acid along with vitamin B..As doc didnt prescribe calcium tabs,I' m not taking them...Iron tablet is 300 mg each,it also has 7.5 mg of zinc..I donno whether its gud or not...Is it okie 2 take tablets at this stage without consulting ur doc?I suggest ramya just ask ur doc ,whether u can take them or not?

anyways take care n do write back...
loads of luv.

Hello ramya,
Gud 2 hear that baby n mom r doing great:-)..

no ramya,2.5 ltrs water aint sufficient.U shd drink more..Atleast 4 litres..These days I try 2 drink more than 4 litres of water, apart 4m milk n juice..So try n drink lil more water. If u cannot drink 4 litres, atleast lil by lil increase the amt of water intake daily,so that atleast sumwhere 4 litres u reach soon by 22nd week..

Calcium tabs I know thresz no harm in taking it,but iron I feel,if u dont have anaemia then theresz no necessity 2 take it.Coz ur body flushes out excess amt of iron 4m ur body,no matter u take tabs or not..So why take tabs n presurise ur body when u dont have the necessity.Again thisz what I feel, blv me ramya,If I were at ur place,n I didnt have anaemia,I wud be the first one to throw these iron tabs,I´ m really sick of eating 2 iron tabs...

Oh yes, thats ur lil one:-)..when u walk u dont get that feeling coz, normally they say, when ur doing any activity, the baby feels the rocking movements n puts itself 2 sleep..ther 4 when we r sleeping or sitting we hear baby movements more, coz that time we dont do any other actvity,ther4 its active then,n u can hear it playing inside the tummy:-)so momy, thats ur baby for sure shot:-)...

As far as I remember she said we shdnt sit crossed legs,n not padmasan..Infact I´ ve read this that Consistent practice of sitting in padmasana until late into pregnancy is said to help ease childbirth...so now dont worry baby is doing fine..

n regarding brisk walk for abt 30 mts is absolutely okie..Infact they say Brisk walking gives a total body workout and is easy on the joints and muscles. If you were not active before getting pregnant, walking is a great way to start an exercise program. But anyways dont over do it too much..n here r sum tips regarding 2nd tirmester walks-----

Continue to wear supportive shoes, protect your skin from the sun, and avoid dehydration. Your gait may now be more ungainly, so pay attention to your posture to avoid straining your back: When you walk, keep your chin level, your hips tucked under your shoulders to avoid a sway in your back, and look ahead. Swing your arms for balance and to intensify your workout. You may want to find a buddy to join you on your walks and keep you motivated. Don´ t walk outside after dark unless the area is brightly lit — you´ re at increased risk of stumbling and falling if you can´ t see where you´ re going.

hmm these days we all think, what if we do this, will it harm our baby?maternal insticts u see...Nothing will happen 2 our baby. Its completely safe inside our tummy. Now stop worrying n njoy ur pregnacy...

take care
lotsa luv

Hey Meghnah,

We both are doing good...

Thank you for the advice..I will drink more water...in my last appointment my doctor also told me to drink more water...but I am just drinking 2.5 lts of water..hope that is sufficient...

Regarding calcium and iron tablets..I asked my doctor and she said that she doesnot feel it is necessary to take..but it is no harm in taking it.
She told me if I have some happiness taking them I can take..she said as such they dont prescribe calcium, iron or folic acid in their country.
Then I asked my friends in India..everybody told me to take calcium and iron tablets..so I am in kind of fix now..so I have decided to buy these tablets
and in my next appointment I will show it to my doctor..if she says OK, I will start taking them.

Hey these days I am feeling some bubbles in my tummy...it feels like water dropplets falling into water tank...I hope it is baby :)) what do you think..is this the baby??
When I walk, I dont get that feeling..I can feel that only in my office...yesterday I went home early and sat for a while to feel those bubbles...but may be baby was sleeping at that time...
now when I am writing this message..I can feel them again...But I dont feel any movements..may be they will slowly come...

Hey few weeks ago..some one in the group told that we should not sit in Padmasana pose right...daily I am sitting like that for eating my dinner...
but yesterday donno why..I was afraid that I may harm my baby...while I was getting up..my knee hit my tummy (very slightly)..but I felt pain...
Donno what happened inside..but I just hope baby is fine...

I wanted to ask you one more thing..any idea if brisk walking is harmful for the baby?? I tend to walk fast to catch my bus...actually I am not feeling any pain when I walk fast..but I am kind of worried if this will harm the baby or not...

I think this time I asked you many questions :)) I feel you know lot of info...so I asked you :))

ok then bye for now...
take care..
lots of luv
ramya
