My son is 7 months and has got dry cough and runnig nose, i don't know what to do, as doctor don't want to give him any medicine, and my son feels uncomfortable and cries a lot. Does anyone know any good household remedies, please let us know

medicines as far as possible for common illness like these.
This is the time, kids develop their immune system and if we
start to give medicines for every small sickness then they will
become dependent on that.
When my 8 month old son got cold and cough, I would suck out the
mucus with a bulb syringe although not many times a day.
Put quite an amount of kesar in water and let it sit for 4-5 hours and then
apply the paste on his head/chest and let time heal.
The cold-cough normally lasts for 10-15 days and if its not much irritating to the
kid then go by these simple remedies but as you said that your child cries a lot, then
he must be fatigued too. Try to give him as much water and keep him occupied....(easier said than done ;-)
