Dear Ritu,

Even I was diagonised with low lying placenta in my 21st week u/s. Actually we can't do anything about it. But my doc said as pregnancy progresses, the lower part of the uterus grows such that the placenta eventually becomes clear of the cervix. In fact, in 95% of cases the placenta will move up. My doc also suggested an u/s after 30 wks just to see whether the placenta has moved up. She also said usually around 28 weeks it will move up.

In the meantime do not lift anything, take enough bed rest as possible, drink fluids and keep hydrated and pelvic rest (no sex).

Abt baby growth I really don't know, just talk to ur OB/ nutritionist and I will pray that things will be fine in ur coming scan. Good luck with ur Glucose test results.

Take Care and love to both ur daughters,
Leo

Hi Leo,

Yeah i read your message and came to know abt low lying placenta. In my first pregnancy i didn't face all these problems but this time i am having new one. After my U/S i had an appointment and that Dr.(other one) didn't tell me anything and he said that everything is ok.Yesterday when i went for another monthly visit then my dr.told me this so i was so tensed.
Where do u feel baby movements more.Still i feel baby movement very-very low,I don't why????
But i am looking forward for my scan and hopefully everything will be ok.
Thanks for your wishes.Next week i'll get results.
TC n Love to ur little one.

Ritu I understood seeing ur msg that u were tensed. Ur doc should have told u after the u/s.

Anyway there is not much u can do. Even I was tensed, was so happy seeing my baby in the u/s but when my doc said I have low lying placenta, was worried though she assured me in most cases it will move up. Then I thought I should not worry and must be happy.

I am feeling the baby movements all over. Just stay positive and everything will be fine in ur next scan. U r in my prayers.

Bye,
Leo
