my baby is 3.5 months old, hes half bottle fed n half breast fed, he drinks only when hes drowsy or sleeping, look like hes getting a lot distracted. hes otherwise active. from morn 9am-9pm, he takes precisely 18-20 oz n he gets up twice in the night n i breast feed him. i feel his appetite is less, is that so? thanks in advance.

my daughter is 5 1/2 months and she also takes only 19 to 20oz of milk thats her capacity iam not able to increase her intake. But she is active and normal poop and pee.

I think each baby is diffirent and has their own pattern of feeding.

A baby that age should be taking in approximately 32 oz of milk, whether it be breast or formula. As long as your child is close to that amount in a 24 hour period, wets 5 to 6 diapers and appears content, I wouldn't worry.
