My 2 months old baby used to cry whole night without sleep after that his doc asked us to give him Colimex drops daily night @11pm.He was doing fine ,but from past 4-5 days he is crying whole night till 4am in the morning & in the evenings he cries continousely atleast for an hour.Can any one suggest a remedy to this? guneet replied. add 1 teaspoon of honey in 2 ounces of water { boiled and cooled ) . give this bottle to the baby say half an hour before colic usually happens . it will make the baby pass stool and release all the gas ,. begin by giving it once daily .personsal exp , doctors advice ,all the best. Smitha replied. Hi, My daughter used to be colic till she was 2.5 months old. She used to cry starting from 6 p.m. in the evening till 3 a.m. at night. This problem automatically solved when she entered her third month. Now she completed 4 months. She sleeps well during the night. She wakes up inbetween for feeds but sleeps soon after she is done with that. When she is awake, she is calm and smiling most of the times. She only cries when she is hungry or when she is sleepy.Your baby also should be okay in another month. So don' t worry. Everybody goes through this stage. Good Luck! smitha replied. 1. Do you burp your kid everytime after a feed.....? It is very vital esp when kid is as young as 2 years old.

2. Has the doctor explored the possibility of a ear infection. generally kids cry of ear pain whole night?

3. Giving colimex every day is not a good idea.

4. Try giving the baby 4-5 spoons of boiled and cooled water(make it lukewarm).

5. You can also take the baby on your lap and put him on his tummy.......this may relieve the excess gas.

6.Is he on breast or formula? Lata replied. Dear Shilpa, quite possible that the baby cries b' coz of gas problem. u can try this- take some hing and make its thick paste with water and apply around baby' s navel. don' t apply on the navel, just around it.try and see.
