Hi Iam sajina 26 old girl working in a private firm. my parents took a vow that to offer my hair to tirupathi. I am going to thirupathi in this month last. I would like to wear churidar at the time of shave but my parents not agreeing they are telling me to wear saree. I am not interested to wear saree because the water sprinkled over head will spread over blouse and that will become wet. I dont like to wear wet blouse. this is sagarika, don' t worry about ur dress while shaving ur head with any dress u can go for head shave. but if u ware a sarry then u can wound round ur pallu around ur neck just below the hair line so that the barber can shave upto ur hair line. and dont wear deep necks upto 6 to 8 months after head shave. in my view it is better to wear sarry than chudidar while head shaving because the barber wets the hair thervely and some water will come on to the dress then if it is pant them u will feel uncomfort. the wear a sarry keeping long pallu so that u can rap ur head with it after shaving.
the most important is before shaving and after sitting before the barber just surrender ur head to barber upto ur total hair is shaved and check once by touching ur bald head if ur head is smooth or not if not ask him to do it once.
one more thing take nice photos before going for tonsure with different hair styles and after gundu some with smooth gundu with the same dress.these are my advises only.
as u have already prepared for gundu then it is very fine and u can do it cool,but u have not prepared for that then u will feel tension.
but my suggsion is go for gundu happyly really u will enjoy the gundu with experiance iam telling u can see my post also in this site long before 2009 april.
even we are planning for gundu at the end of 2012.

I will help u in this..i know the situation..i will take suggestions from other girls(my frnds) who shaved in kalyanakatta if u want me to do so..they told me that they wear chudidhars at the time of shave..last year one of my frnd had her headshave in tirumala..she wore green chudidhar 4 headshave since it is dark color...after headshave she wore yellow chudidhar.
By the way she looks beautiful in both
(with and without hair).. arjun replied. hai sajina..i am arjun..ur guessing is right..if u wear chudidhar at the time of headshave it is the best and comfortable..since ur parents want u to wear saree and blouse..there is no option.
My advice is to wear dark color blouse and saree which should not be transperent..i saw so many female headshaves and i love it..if u wear saree u look beautiful in that with smooth head..by the way if u want to chat with me to loose ur fear contact my gmail id...

Do not worry about what you wear, either saree or churidar. Both can be workable.

After getting the head shave at Tirupathi, you will have sacred bath in nearby kund or at your rest house. its a matter of few minutes, from head shave time till your bath.

Go and enjoy your head shave. My wife had head shave in 2010, wearing saree, whereas some of ladies had worne the churidars also, when we were in tonsure hall at tirupati.
