Today I had doctor appt. and she told me I am 1cm dilated. this is my 37th week. So, is that mean i can go into labour any time now ? Please let me know.

Hi Gals,

I am really so happy to see all these messages. but I don't have contractions yet, but can feel pressure in my lower abdomen and need to goto bathroom very often.

One of my friend was saying that it could happen anytime now. Anyway if I get some more information I'll post you guys, and so can you.

Hi,
I am also in 37th week....and so far i haven't started dilating, but started \";thinning\";...even then the doctor says, I can go into labor anytime....so, I suggest u to be prepared anyways....

Hi Aarti,
Was just curious to know that have the contraction pains started happening to u?
Coz u hv already started dilating, so ur date of delivery would be nearnig.
Can someone dilate to 2-3 cms without getting pains and without knowing?

Hmm

Hey even i m in 37thweek & dialated 2 cms. very curious to know what next. last time i was so much in 39th week & i was induced in hospital. This time i m just waiting home. My contractions r 1 hour apart & last for 3 to 5 minutes....

i also am in my 37th week and my dr also told me i am about 1&1/2 cm dilated. she said this is very normal to have 1 to 2 cm dilation. it could just mean that may be the baby is due a day or 2 b4 due date. but there is no need to worry. she says i have 2 week more to go atleast. it should be the same with u. take care
