My daughter is 16 months. She says \";ka-ka\"; and \";soo\"; AFTER she has done it. Unfortunately, she does both standing and is refusing the potty. If I try and make her sit while she is at it, she just clamps up and gets stubborn. While she doesnt mind sitting on the potty with her toys, she will NOT use it when she is supposed to. How do I get her potty trained and off diapers??

hi Monisha
i have another idea ,whenever she starts to shit put her on the big adult potty(u get small frames for toddlers that fit in the adult comod)i assuma that she cannot get off it by herself.i have tried and tested this method and it works ,everytime i saw my daughter making that face...... u know when they push hard .immediately put her on the big pot and get her down only after she s done that way slowly she will get the idea.
best of luck again

hi its a tuff job as i recently tarined my baby with the help of mu hubby FIL and MIl,stop the diaper use immediately let a few accidents happen (althou try to avoid them) but before u do this buy a small baby pot for the baby and to make him/her comfy let her sit on it even when she does not with to pee or poo let her see you sit on the big potty ofcourse not while doing the job, these ar ea few ways .then when she is comfy with it take her to the pot say every hr even if does not want to pee or poo ,let her sit on the pot for soem time and after few times u will notice that u have passed on the meassage to the baby.i hope i make sense .if any more q feel free.

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
