Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

I am born and brought up in India and currently
hold US citizenship. We have a biological child(son)
and would like to adopt a infant baby girl from
India. I have contacted various agencies in India
but have recieved a very poor response so far.
They either tell us that it is against their policy
to give a child for adoption to couple with a
biological child or they are inclined to give
children to Indian residents only.

This is very disappointing and will surely
appreciate any help possible.

Does any one know the names of Indian agencies
that will let us do this?

vibha replied. in order to return to the us with your child, you have to go through a us agency to begin the process. the indian agency comes in later.

you can contact holt international (ask for Dean Hale) or journeys of the heart or any other agency listed on the cara site. they will help you further. archana replied. My case is same as yours.
