I have been in love with a girl from 4 years. Got a chance to talk to her recently & she accepted my proposal. She is very beautiful and has very thick & long hair. When I told her last week it was her hair first got me attracted to her. she laughed & said that will go away. Her parents had a vow for tonsure at a temple near their home town. They had done it last year. Even though the vow was not for tonsure for her & her sister, they are willing to do it. I asked her if she can just offer some hair. Her parents also said that will be better. She said she will think on that but most probably it is tonsure. She asked me to go to her home town with her. I hope she cancels the tonsure & will just cut some hair. Has anybody come across this situation? If yes someone please advise if there is a way to stop. Thanks in advance for your inputs.

-Prakash Prakash Reddy replied. My attempts to stop did' t work & my beautiful girl friend is bald now. she looks totally different now. Unfortunately I was there with her while she was getting tonsure. I hope I will get used to her looks quickly.
