hi,

am interested in getting a nice crewcut with manual clippers. however, the saloons, barbershops don' t have manual clippers but only machine in my locality. are there such shops in chennai that use manual clippers - also i don' t see roadside shops like in north - are there any in chennai - I am new to chennai, hence the question.

Hi Pavan,
First of all congrats for having an idea of crew or machine cut. I have been having machine cuts since two years from the age of 16 and really enjoy them. Crew or machine cuts require monthly visit to the saloon. Please let me know are you a student or working professional.
Since you are from north, it is better to take the help of a local smart guy who is interested in short haircuts. It may be your neighbour' s son or colleague. Please accompany him to the saloon and let hem halp you with the local language. Please learn some important terms such as \" back side\" , \" apply machine\" \" do shaving\" , etc in Tamil which would help you to talk to the barber. Please to a saloon with maximum three seats.
