My kids love Puri. But we know unhealthy it is to give it to the kids frequently. Can anyone suggest any tip to soak less oil for puri?

To soak less oil for deep fried food, add fresh coriander, either chopped or grounded, to the batter or puri dough. Or add baby onions finely chopped to the puri dough, this will soak less oil to the puri and you will get tasty puri with a delicious flavour.

While making puris see that there is no much water content in the dough prepared. More the water content more oil be soaked for deep fried food. Use required amount of water and you keep a check on the oil getting soaked.

I'm guessing I just unplug the appliance and slide that tray back and emp... - Walter DMason [View Message]
