Waiting to try:Suggestions on Hymenectomy
2011-05-12
Name: K Suma

Hi

I am 24yo.From the past 1 year, we are trying to have a child, but it was not happening. Finally, we went for doc check up.

My hubby' s sperm count report was good (40 millions/ml and 70 motility). Then coming to myself, Previously i had a ultrasound scan in that report everything is normal. At this time doc wrote me vaginal scan, then we found out the problem. Actually the instrument was not going through my vagina. She found very difficult and was very painful to me.

Then she concluded that both are fine, but me is suffering with vaginismus, rigid hymen, and narrow introitus with severe dysperunia. She advised me to go for hymenectomy a minor surgery.

Well i know that , coz i am panic and very scare during intercourse and even cant relax myself.

Now my question is whether hymenectomy will helpful for my vaginsmus and what are the chances of pregnancy after hymenectomy.

Suggest any other good hospitals for a second opinion and if possible hymenctomy charges also.

Thankful for your shared opinions and advices. It will be more useful for any physcian advice
