hi all,
i am 15 weeks pregnant.in my last check up the midwife said she cldn't feel the top of the uterus ,though we could hear the heart beat of the baby.it took them 10 minutes to locate the heart beat and we could hear it feebly.my midwife said it was normal but i am confused for this stage the top of the uterus should be atleast mid way between the navel and hipbone right?
pls help

your uterus would be 15 cms from the fundus point at this gestation. It's common not to get it right in the beginning of second trim and also in third trim.
some face trouble figuring heart in the beginning or second trim or end of first trim. It's because fetus is small and space is plenty it's moving although you don't feel and that's why trouble. As long as you heard all is fine.
