Unexplained Infertility:Need help!

I am 34 years old. I just got married. I am planning to have a baby (conceive). Because of my irregular period, I am not able to do anything. I have irregular period past 5 years. Whenever I go to doctor for the irregular period, doctor give birth control pill to regulate my period, it works for 8 months, then again I get irregular period.

In these situation, what can I do in order to conceive apart from sex. Should I take birth control pill to regulate my period first and then try for baby or should I go for some treatment for conceive baby. I am in US now, Iam going to India, chennai for 2 month vacation. How can I utilize this 2 months in India to conceive. Should I go to doctor, which doctor do you recommend? and what kind of treatment should I take.

I really appreciate your suggestion

Thanks,
Kirthana

hi,
i am also same age as you & having problem with conceiving. the only diffrence is i have been married since long & my period became regular within 2 years of married life thru regular natural sex life. I guess bcs of agee u don' t have time.
Fistly do not take birth control pills, as it may make it more difficult to conceive. Instead take a advise from good aurvedic doctor when u r in chennai.Try Ovulation study procedure - thru daily ultrasound from 8th day onwards to find out your best days. Also u can try IUI- Intra Uteraine Insimination to help u conceive. Visit any good gynec in your vicinity & talk to them about this option. u have to be patient as it may take more than 2-6 sittings, i have already finished 2 & will go for 3rd next month.
Wish u best of luck

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.

Hence we thought to go for donor sperm. But there is still risk... - SS [View Message]
