hi all

my baby had the schedule of more sleeping in night atleast 3 hrs she always used to sleep..but since 2 3 days..she is waking up evry 1.5 hr or max 2 and feels hungry evry time i give her more than 2 oz as in 2 oz she does not seems happy...bur even then she is waking up next 1.5 hr...watcan i do abt it...to make her sleep more in night

Expect your baby to wake up every 1.5 to 2 hours at night - the fact that your baby slept for three hours at night at the beginning should be considered as lucky. As your baby and its stomach grow, the baby will hold more milk and be able to go longer between feeds, but don't expect this to happen any time soon. From what I remember, my son woke up during the night every few hours until he was 6 weeks old. After that he woke up once a night (around 3 or 4 am) for food until he was about 4 months old. It wasn't until he was about 4 1/2 or 5 months that he slept 8 hours. He's now 8 months and sleeps 11 to 11 1/2 hours. Be patient - you can't change how much milk your baby can hold. As your baby gets older it will get easier. Right now is the hardest part
